LIBRARY MANAGEMENT OF STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 14O/VI RANTAU PANJANG

This study attempts to reveal various matters related to library management at 140/VI Rantau Panjang State Elementary School, both related to the tasks, functions and roles of libraries, organizing, human resource management, bibliographical descriptions of library materials, as well as organizing library material information. . To reveal this, all researchers conducted research using qualitative methods, with data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by data reduction, data display and data verification. And it was found that in the library management of the 140/VI Rantau Panjang State Elementary School there was a lack of cooperation in procuring library materials, it was managed by educational staff who were not experts or had library education qualifications, the library collection was not equipped, the manager had never attended any library management training/workshops, and service system is still in manual form.
